Option 1 – I’ve Submitted a Proposal

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve just submitted a proposal to the OEGlobal 2026 Conference (#OEGlobal26) — taking place October 7–9 at the MIT Samberg Conference Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts + online.

My submission is for [Track Name / topic area] and explores [brief description of your work]

It’s a topic that has been central to my work at [institution/organization], and I’m excited by the possibility of bringing it into this global conversation.

If you’re working in open education — as a researcher, practitioner, advocate, or policymaker — the CFP is open until April 7. I’d love to see more voices from [your region / field] in the room.

Submit here: https://bit.ly/OEGlobal26

#OpenEducation  #OER  #HigherEducation  #OpenAccess

Adapt: Fill in the track name, your topic, and your institution. The last paragraph is a great place to encourage colleagues from your specific region or field

Option 2 – I’m Attending

I’m heading to Cambridge, MA, this October for the OEGlobal 2026 Conference — and I think you should be there too. #OEGlobal26 brings together open educators, researchers, technologists, and policymakers from around the world for three days of conversation, collaboration, and ideas that actually move things forward. This year, the conference is co-hosted by MIT Open Learning and the Massachusetts Open & Low-Cost Educational Resources Advisory Council (OLERAC), making it a particularly exciting gathering.

The Call for Proposals is open until Apr 7 — five tracks, all formats welcome, global perspectives especially encouraged. If you’ve been thinking about submitting, this is your sign.

Adapt: If you’re not yet confirmed to attend, swap “I’m heading to” for “I’m hoping to be at” or “I’m working on getting to”.

Option 3 – Submitting a Proposal: Invite collaboration or co-presenters

I’m putting together a proposal for #OEGlobal26 at the MIT Samberg Conference Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts + online (October 7–9, 2026) and looking for collaborators.

The session I’m proposing sits at the intersection of [topic A] and [topic B] — and I think it would be stronger with perspectives from [other region / discipline / context].

If this resonates with your work, let’s talk.

The CFP deadline is Apr 7.  conference.oeglobal.org/2026

Adapt: If you are keen on proposing a panel or round table with multiple voices.
