Program Co-chair 

Robert Lawson is an instructional designer in Curriculum Development at NorQuest College. He is a member of the NorQuest OER steering committee, which guides OER adoption and creation at the College, and the provincial Open Education Alberta steering committee, which encourages the creation of open content at Alberta post-secondary institutions. Since coming to the college in 2016, he has been an OER champion, supporting the college’s transition to open and the move to become a zero textbook cost institution by 2030. Robert has a passion for traveling, language learning and exploring different cultures. He also loves taking trips through Alberta’s beautiful backyard with his family.
