Karrie Auger, Manager, Indigenous Peoples Education and Strategic Initiatives, Indigenous House of Learning, is a nehiyaw iskwew, originally from Wabasca Bigstone Cree Nation. She has been at NorQuest College since 2019 and is grateful to be working alongside many Indigenous leaders to advance meaningful moves towards the resurgence of Indigenous Peoples knowledge systems, and to increase mechanisms of self-determination and sovereignty for Indigenous peoples in post-secondary institutions.
