Welcome
It is our greatest pleasure to welcome you to the Open Education Global 2021 & 2022 conference series to be held across two different events co-hosted by Open Education Global and the Nantes Université.
There are two components of the Open Education Global Conference. The first, the Online Conference took place from September 27 until October 1, 2021 (you can read about it here). The second, In-person Congress, will take place from May 23–25, 2022 in Nantes, France.
The Nantes Université is located in a beautiful natural environment situated in the heart of Nantes, a city of 500,000 inhabitants approximately two hours from Paris in Western France. Nantes is renowned for its vitality, culture, economic development, and quality of life. Thanks to its two campuses in Saint-Nazaire and La-Roche-sur-Yon, the Nantes Université maintains a strong presence within the territory.
The purpose of the Open Education Global Conference 2021 & 2022 is to support the implementation of the UNESCO OER Recommendation – from commitment to action. The 2021&2022 conference series brings the global open education community together to collectively work on advancing the implementation of the UNESCO OER Recommendation.
We look forward to the conference series and to your participation. If you have any questions, please send an email to conference@oeglobal.org.
We look forward to seeing you in-person in May 2022! Registration is open!
