Call for Proposals is Closed!

Submissions for the 2020 Open Education Global Conference must contain enough details to be able to assess the novelty, relevance, or the impact of the proposed session. Proposals need to include clear description of what presenters will address, main takeaways and what the audience can expect to learn.

The following information will be required during the submission process:

  • Names, titles, and affiliation of all authors and /or facilitators
  • Name (s) of presenting author (s)
  • Conference track (selected from the list above)
  • Format of session requested (selected from the list above)
  • Title of the session
  • Abstract (300-500 words) 
  • Describe key takeaways and session participant engagement (100-300 words max)
  • Select which area of the UNESCO OER Recommendation your proposal is related to 
  • At least three keywords
  • Educational sector (Primary Education, Secondary Education, Community College/Vocational/Trades Education, Higher Education, Lifelong Learning/non-formal learning/ Adult learning/Community learning)
  • If the session format option you’ve chosen offers a choice, indicate whether you want to conduct your session synchronously or asynchronously:
    • I would like to conduct my session synchronously
    • I would like to conduct my session asynchronously
  • If your preference is a synchronous format, please indicate your time zone preference:
    • Taipei, Taiwan: UTC/GMT +8
    • Amsterdam, the Netherlands: UTC/GMT +1
    • Toronto, Canada: UTC/GMT -5
    • No preference (asynchronous session format selected)

After submitting your proposal, you will receive an automated confirmation email. If you do not receive one or if you have questions, please contact us at conference@oeglobal.org.
