Presenter Requirements
To ensure that your technology will work, please see the requirements below for each presentation type.
Presentation Sessions
- Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start of your session.
- The available time for presentation is 25 minutes max, which includes time for questions.
- Each session room contains a computer (Windows 7) with PowerPoint (2010), Internet connection and technical assistance.
- Every session room will be hosted by a session chair. The session chair will shortly introduce speakers and keep track of time.
- The session chair has a USB stick to collect the slides for the presentations for publication on the conference website. Publish your slides under a Creative Commons license, preferably CC-BY. Include the appropriate license icon in your slides.
- In each room there is opportunity to show your presentation on a big screen. Connection input options are HDMI and VGA.
- The preferred presentation size is widescreen 16:9
- If you prefer to use your own laptop:
- Bring your own connector (in case of Apple devices), the venue does not provide these by default
- If you prefer to use a remote clicker, please remember to bring your own (the venue does not provide these
- If you need electricity for your laptop, bring your voltage adapter; voltage adapters are not provided.
Poster Sessions
- Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start of your session.
- Posters are printed on A0 format (international ISO 216 standard) in portrait.
- Posters should not be heavy; they will be hung with Velcro.
- Posters will be presented on poster boards approx 1 x 2 m.
- The poster session owner is responsible for creating the poster.
- Printing facilities: If you prefer to print the posters locally, we can recommend the following printing facilities:
- If you wish to send your poster ahead in advance, please make sure your package is sent to Aula Conference Center/TU Delft, Mekelweg 5, 2628CC Delft, The Netherlands (addressed to Ginny Ruiter) and set to arrive on 20 April. Action Labs

- Action lab rooms (Commission chambers 1 and 2) are set up in an active setting (groups of tables) and contain presentation facilities.

Panel Sessions
