Taiwan OpenCourse Consortium (TOCC) periodically collects and analyzes feedbacks from open courseware users as a mean of understanding the perceptual user quality issues of the existing online courseware. Last year, TOCC executed a project sponsored by Taiwan Ministry of Education to conduct a holistic survey of user experience from the open courseware users in Taiwan, as one of the inputs to refine and improve the quality of the existing online courseware accordingly. The open courseware refinement includes post editing, adding captions, re-recording, creating animations, etc. TOCC members proposed the refinement plans and started the refinement by honoring the respectful comments from a review committee invited by TOCC.

Ten of the member universities are funded by TOCC and eighteen courses (more than 400 hours) are refined. In this poster presentation, Prof. Yu-Lun Huang, Secretary General of Taiwan Open Course Consortium (TOCC), would like to introduce the refinement and improvement made by the TOCC member universities and show how the refined courses can be applied to other courses, like advanced placement courses for high school students in Taiwan.
