These awards recognize distinctive open education sites, technological innovations, notable open courses, and exemplary leaders in Open Education worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>A panel of voting members select award winners from finalists culled by the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.oeconsortium.org\/projects\/open-education-awards-for-excellence\/ace-awards-2014-committee\/\">Open Education Awards for Excellence Committee<\/a>.\u00a0 Individual winners are selected by a vote of the OEC Board of Directors.<\/p>\n<p>The Open Education Consortium\u00a0its honored to present\u00a0winners\u00a0of the<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.oeconsortium.org\/projects\/open-education-awards-for-excellence\/2016-winners-of-oe-awards\/\">2016 Open Education Awards for Excellence<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-8\">\n<p>Awards\u00a0will be announced during the Opening Reception on April 12, 2016 at 6:00pm.
