Nowadays, in the context of the network economy, more and more projects require international and multifunctional collaborations. Universities, Businesses, Public Authorities, trainers, trainees and other actors need to develop open innovation schemes to create new projects, products and services to respond to an everyday more complex and ever evolving demand and to integrate technological changes.
We see also that different industry sectors and social aspects converge in the final product, service or project outcome, that is, for example, the case of a car in which software and smart technology play an important role, apart from the traditional car features or in the social field we have to consider the different perspectives (culture, education, geography, innovation, etc.) in order to tackle issues such as youth unemployment.
In this context, partnerships are essential for developing successful businesses and innovative projects and the ability of understanding the role of different stakeholders in project development becomes key for students, entrepreneurs, practitioners, trainers, youth workers, professors, researchers, etc.
The lab aims to present two case studies of learning processes with the involvement of different stakeholders and work together with participants in ‘roles games’ in order to identify opportunities for developing the Convergence-Open Innovation approach for non-formal education considering the role of stakeholders and partnerships in trainings and courses on ‘entrepreneurship’, ‘digital technology and platforms for partnerships’ and ‘creative industries’ to finalize with key messages for developing an agenda on this themes.
