The purpose of this presentation is to present recent research from the United States in Open Textbook adoption. Across multiple contexts, researchers have measured the academic impact of adopting open textbooks. Impact measures include drop rates, withdrawal rates, and student GPA. I will summarize these findings and provide suggestions for future research in these areas.
