In 2015 the Hewlett Foundation funded an OER Research Fellows initiative. This provides for approximately twenty graduate students and early researchers to do OER research. Specifically, they were tasked with doing research around the COUP framework, namely investigating the influence of OER on Cost, student Outcomes, Use of OER, and Perceptions of students and faculty of OER.
The purpose of this presentation is to explain the structure of how this program works and highlight the recent work done by the current OER Research Fellows.
