This presentation will discuss the results of a recent MOOC course offered through the Canvas Network that featured OER material developed through a US Dept. of Labor Round 1 TAACCCT grant. The course covers the use of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) through the use of Free & Open Source Software for GIS (FOSS4G). We will discuss the pedagogy of the open course, learner participation and interaction and the development of the course OER materials.
