In the Educational Institution Limbania Velasco, south of Colombia, understanding the environment is promoted in art education, through 1) recognizing local artistic expression and its connection with global expressions from the spatial and temporal context in which arise, 2) promoting audiovisual, individual and collective creation in regards to observation and analysis of the local environment. The aim is to contribute to the development of criteria to make better decisions through access, creation and exchange of information, taking advantage of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). In 2014, through the coKREA project, led by Karisma Foundation, within the research program ROER4D, the reduced legal framework of copyright for actions such as sharing, remixing and adapting was recognized; all actions promoted during class. Therefore, this experience incorporated the use of Creative Commons licenses and, from there, Open Educational Resources, as consistent scenario to keep educating in citizenship through art and ICT use.
