The pedagogical approach ‘As the School Change’ [Mientras Cambia la Escuela] is a training process where teachers have turned the city into a stage for the development of learning experiences for K-12 students. This approach is been developed for over 10 years in a school that offers a series of supplementary trainings for those who want to become teachers. The proposal was linked a year ago with the coKREA research project, led by Karisma Foundation in Colombia within the framework of the ROER4D research program. From there, it took on the challenge of promoting open education and free culture through teaching experience, encouraging the use of open licenses in the creation of digital and paper resources with students, as well as the use of free software in creating, editing and modifying content. The expectation is for students to train others by example and as part of their practice as future teachers.
